Foundation
Mr. S.V.Kannan and Mr.S.V.Subramanian laid the foundation as a proprietorship company. Initially the firm was named as ` Annai Industries’ based at Tamilnadu, India.

1981
Early Operations
Labour orders were taken with Centreless grinding and band saw cutting machines, with 3 employees

1982
Direct supplier
Became a direct supplier to Brakes India (TVS group) and the customers list extended to REML and GREAVES.

1984
Financial support
Received financial support of ₹4 lakh from NSIC – National Small Industries corporation.

1990
Early Operations
Moved to Ambattur Industrial Estate, operations expanded with automated lathes, thread rolling and grinding machines.

1995
Expansion works
Expansion works continued and the customers list were extended only by word of mouth

2000
Purchase
Purchase of first CNC turning machine

2002
Establishment QMS
Establishment of ISO 9001:2000 – Quality Management System.

2003
Legal Structure
The legal structure was changed from Proprietorship to Private Limited and the firm was renamed as Annai Enterprises Private Limited.

VMC Machine
VMC machine was added to the manufacturing capability

2007
Expansion
Manufacturing area was further expanded within Ambattur Industrial Estate and state of the art special purpose machineries and finishing technologies were inducted into the shop floor.

2010
Further investment
Further investment in Five Axis sliding head stock – CNC Turning machines.

2013
Adapting to Automation
Pick and place robot automation was introduced into the shop floor and currently two such robot-based work cells have been established.

2018
Expansion
Currently AEPL serves 11 customers and 7 of them have been partnering with Annai Enterprises for several decades. This by itself is a true testimony that AEPL is a one stop solution for your machining needs and nurturing long term relationships.
